One Dollar. Four Meals. The Math Still Works.
Dear friend, Last month we served 4,117 households — 642 more than the same month last year. That's the highest monthly count in our 18-year history, and it came during a quarter when our food donations from grocery partners were down 11%. The gap between demand and donated food has never been wider, and it's widening fast.
Here's how we close the gap: we buy what we can't source through donations. Our wholesale agreements let us turn $1 into four meals on the shelf. So when we talk about "your $50 feeds a family for a week" — that's not marketing math. It's literally the per-unit cost of food we can buy at volume. Right now we need to raise $180,000 before December 31 to keep the shelves stocked through the first quarter of 2027. January and February are our hardest months — the December giving fades, the school lunches restart, and the families who leaned on the holiday food drives are back at our door.
Will you give before December 31 so we can stock the shelves for January?
